Allegheny Settlement Company was founded in 1993 by Kristen (Perhach) Stokes, Esquire. Kristen is a 1989 graduate
of the Univerisity of Pittsburgh and a 1993 graduate of the Thomas Cooley School of Law. Kristen is a member of the Allegheny
County Bar Association and is a Pennsylvania licensed Title Insurance Agent. Kristen began her legal career at the law firm
of Dornish and Voelker.
Kristen's husband, D. Lawton Stokes, Esquire, joined the company in 1995. Lawton is a 1986 graduate of Shady Side Academy.
In 1990, he graduated from Vanderbilt University and in 1993 he received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School
of Law. Prior to joining Allegheny Settlement, Lawton worked as an Associate at the law firm of Stokes, Lurie & Cole.

email address. Our Toshiba telephone system includes voice mail for every workstation. The Attorneys carry
Blackberry 6200 series handhelds. This technology enables us to assist our customers more efficiently.
